오늘 헤그세스 장관님과 저는
전작권 전환, 동맹 현대화 등 주요 동맹현안에 대해 논의했으며,
향후 협력을 강화시켜 나가기로 했습니다.
한미동맹은 지난 70여년간 숱한 어려움 속에서도 변함없는 신뢰로 함께해왔습니다.
바퀴의 두 축처럼, 한미는 앞으로도 함께 전진할 것입니다. 같이 갑시다, 위 고 투게더!
Today, I held talks with U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth at the Pentagon.
I would like to once again express my deepest gratitude for the warm welcome extended to me and our delegation.
In particular, I believe today’s meeting provided a valuable opportunity for direct high-level communication ahead of this week’s Korea-U.S. Integrated Defense Dialogue (KIDD) meeting.
Today, Secretary Hegseth and I discussed key alliance issues, including the transition of wartime operation control and the modernization of the alliance, and agreed to strengthen our cooperation moving forward.
For over 70 years, the ROK-U.S. Alliance has stood together with unwavering trust, even through countless difficulties.
Like the two axles of a wheel, Republic of Korea and the United States will continue to move forward together. Kachi Kapsida, We go together!
